THE MISSION
Our mission is to offer opportunities for individuals living in Aroostook County, Maine to learn more about astronomy and have the change to observe the night time sky.
History of the Clubs
The Aroostook County Astronomy Club was first established on July 5, 2005 and continues through April 2010. The club reformed August 28, 2016 with the creation of the Facebook page and the seeking of new members. The UMPI Astronomy Club and the Aroostook County Astronomy Club hosted their first joint meeting on 9/29/2016.
